Qmatchatea takes part in Quantinuum’s quantum circuit tensor network simulation challenge

Quantinuum launched a public challenge to benchmark tensor network simulators of quantum circuits. qmatchatea participated in the competition and delivered consistent, high-quality results across all the proposed families of quantum circuits. Our software ranked second overall, just behind a closed-source solution, and stands as the best open-source alternative. Quantum Tea listed in the DMRG software landscape

The Computer Science Department of Umea University has collected the software landscape for Density-Matrix Renormalization Group software. We are happy to be part of this survey and comparison. See https://arxiv.org/abs/2506.12629.

qmatchatea is the best quantum circuit emulator from academia

The startup QPerfect was looking for the best tensor-network circuit emulators for circuits running within 300 seconds. Qmatchatea was the best emulator from academia after the ranking in an elo-score system. See https://arxiv.org/abs/2504.14027
